Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital (LCRH) is pleased to announce its newest medical team member, Justin T. Hunsucker, MD. Dr. Hunsucker is a board-certified Pulmonary and Critical Care physician with a wealth of experience.
Dr. Hunsucker completed his medical training at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and his Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship at West Virginia University (WVU). He has since worked as a Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician at Cleveland Clinic Martin Health in Florida. Dr. Hunsucker is certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine and has experience in various procedures, including flexible bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and intubation.

Dr. Hunsucker specializes in a wide array of advanced pulmonary procedures and diagnostics, including robotic-assisted navigational bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound with linear and radial probes, flexible bronchoscopy, transbronchial needle aspiration, interpretation of pulmonary function testing and cardiopulmonary exercise testing, thoracentesis, and pleural catheter insertion. His skill in these areas enhances the comprehensive pulmonary care that will be offered at Lake Cumberland Lung Specialists, ensuring patients receive high-quality diagnostic and treatment modalities tailored to their needs.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Hunsucker has been actively involved in various committees and service activities that aim to improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
